of <h1>Nalanda Dance Research Centre Gains Approval Under Section 35(1)(iii) of Income-tax Act 1961 for Scientific Research.</h1> The Nalanda Dance Research Centre in Bombay has been approved under section 35(1)(iii) of the Income-tax Act, 1961, by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi. This approval is valid from April 1, 1984, to March 31, 1987. The Centre must maintain separate accounts for funds received for scientific research, submit annual returns of its research activities, provide audited annual accounts by June 30 each year, and apply for approval extension three months before expiry. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in rejection of extension applications.
