<h1>Board Approves 20 New SEZs, Including IT and Agro Projects; Significant Investments and Job Creation Announced.</h1> The Board of Approval for Special Economic Zones (SEZs) granted 20 formal approvals and 7 in-principle approvals during a recent meeting, considering 31 applications in total. Notable approvals include multi-services SEZ in Gujarat, agro and food processing SEZ in Nagaland, and multiple IT/ITES SEZs in Andhra Pradesh. Additionally, conversions from in-principle to formal approvals were made for a textiles SEZ in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and a multi-product SEZ in Gujarat. The Chairman highlighted that 366 SEZs have received formal approval, with 142 notified, resulting in over Rs. 46705 crores investment and direct employment for over 55,000 people.
