The Twenty Second PPPAC meeting, chaired by Secretary (Economic Affairs), met on January 13, 2009 and granted approval to 3 projects of Department of Shipping. These projects are in two States. The estimated project cost of the approved projects is Rs. 2053.23 crore. Since its constitution in January 2006, PPPAC has granted approval to 94 projects, with an estimated project cost of Rs. 94,783.576 crore. These includes Highways (eighty-one projects), Ports (nine projects), Airports (two projects) and Tourism Infrastructure (one projects) and Railways (one project).
The list of projects approved by 22nd meeting of PPPAC is as follows:

PPP project approvals authorise three port concessions under BOT and DBFOT, advancing private participation in infrastructure.
