DFGT vide public notice no. 102 (RE-2008) /2004-2009 dated 5-11-2008 has announced DEPB rates with effect from 5-11-2008.

New rates of DEPB were less than the rates effective prior to 5-11-2008.

Now, to stimulate the economy, central government has decided to withdraw the public notice no. 102 (RE-2008) /2004-2009 dated 5-11-2008 and restored the DEPB rates that were effective prior to 5-11-2008.

These DEPB rate shall remain in force till 31-12-2009.

DEPB Schedule as effective prior to 5-11-2008 (2007-08)

DEPB rate restoration reverses prior reductions and reinstates the earlier export incentive schedule until year end. Central government withdrew Public Notice No. 102 (RE-2008) and restored the pre-5-11-2008 DEPB rates, reinstating the earlier DEPB schedule that prevailed in 2007-08; these rates are to remain in force until 31-12-2009.
