<h1>NIA expands counter terrorism research cell to cover all theatres of terrorism and adds specialised investigative units.</h1> The ISIS Investigation Research Cell has been renamed Counter Terrorism Research Cell to include all theatres of terrorism and complemented by specialised units-Anti Human Trafficking Division, Anti Cyber Terrorism Division, FATF cell, Financial Analysis Unit and a National Terror Data Fusion and Analysis Centre for big data analytics and digitisation of investigative processes; NIA's remit and jurisdiction have been expanded to investigate specified offences outside the country subject to international and domestic legal constraints and to cover offences under the Explosive Substances Act, human trafficking, cyber terrorism and the Arms Act.
