<h1>International vegetarian festival celebrates culture, cuisine and affordability with workshops, food courts and awards for culinary excellence</h1> An international vegetarian food festival, 'Food for Thought Fest,' was organized in November 2025 at the Sabarmati Riverfront Event Centre in Ahmedabad, presented by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and organized by the South Asian Association for Gastronomy. The four-day event, attended by senior government officials and municipal dignitaries, featured panel discussions on culture and cuisine, culinary workshops, celebrity-led demonstrations, and specialized pavilions, including luxury, spiritual, and coffee-focused experiences. A South Asia Food Court and Regional Food Court offered diverse cuisines at regulated, affordable prices. AMC-SAAG Awards were conferred to recognize excellence in the South Asia Food Court.
