<h1>Two arrested for running fake medical admission consultancy, duping NEET students and parents of crores through management quota scam</h1> Police in Lucknow arrested two individuals for allegedly operating a fraudulent admission consultancy that impersonated a reputed medical institute and duped students and parents of several crores of rupees. Multiple complainants reported paying large sums, including amounts of Rs 45 lakh, Rs 38 lakh, Rs 23 lakh, Rs 20 lakh, Rs 18 lakh, and Rs 45 lakh, on the false promise of MBBS, engineering and other course admissions under management quota. The accused allegedly created fake bank accounts, websites, and social media pages, targeted low-ranked NEET-qualified students using purchased data, and collected payments via demand drafts, online transfers, and cash. Police seized cash, electronic devices, ID documents and bank instruments, and are verifying further complaints and other districts' links as part of an ongoing investigation.
