<h1>IIM Calcutta Innovation Park inks MoUs to boost North-East startups through co-incubation, skills training and student entrepreneurship</h1> IIM Calcutta Innovation Park has entered into three memoranda of understanding with leading Assam institutions to strengthen the North-East entrepreneurial ecosystem. Collaborations with a premier technology institute and its biotechnology incubation centre will enable co-incubation of deep-tech and biotech startups, providing access to advanced labs, mentorship, and investor networks. Partnership with a state skill university focuses on democratizing entrepreneurship through Entrepreneurship Development Cells in academic institutions and 'Train the Trainer' programmes for educators. An agreement with a private university aims to foster student entrepreneurship via EDCs, business plan competitions, incubation for student-led ventures, and student-driven 'Build Clubs' to develop practical product-building skills.
