The suspects allegedly formed part of a gang that posed as Reserve Bank of India officials, used a car with a forged government sticker, intercepted the van, and forcibly took custody of the staff and cash before abandoning the staff and fleeing. Police formed multiple teams, interrogated over 30 persons, and recovered Rs 5.76 crore and a vehicle used in the crime within 60 hours. Authorities state that 6-8 persons were involved and further arrests are anticipated.
