<h1>Airport Customs Seize Rs 53 Crore Narcotics, Gold and Diamonds, Arrest 20 Passengers in Weeklong Crackdown</h1> Customs authorities at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport conducted multiple enforcement actions between November 13 and 20, resulting in the seizure of narcotics and contraband valued at over Rs 53 crore and the arrest of 20 passengers. Officers recovered approximately 52.3 kg of suspected hydroponic marijuana in 14 cases, leading to 15 arrests. Additionally, four cases of gold smuggling yielded 551 grams of 24-carat gold, while one case involved 469.75 carats of diamonds, including natural and lab-grown stones, concealed in a body cavity. All individuals were detained under customs and narcotics laws, and investigations are ongoing.
