<h1>Probe launched into 2024 revenue inspectors promotion exam paper leak, searches uncover key digital and financial evidence</h1> The Economic Offences Wing of the Chhattisgarh Police has initiated a probe into an alleged promotion examination scam involving revenue inspectors. An FIR was registered regarding the January 2024 promotion exam for village revenue officials, reportedly linked to a question paper leak. Pursuant to this, searches were conducted at 19 locations across seven districts, including premises of officials involved in printing, distributing exam papers, and liaisoning for promotions. The searches, primarily in Raipur with additional locations in Surguja, Gariaband, Bemetara, Bilaspur, Kanker, and Bastar, resulted in the seizure of digital evidence, transaction-related agreements, and other documents relevant to the investigation.
