<h1>Regional student research convention draws 178 researchers from 20 universities across 12 states; awards span multiple disciplines</h1> A private university in Arunachal Pradesh hosted a two-day regional student research convention under the Association of Indian Universities, bringing about 178 student researchers and faculty from 20 public and private universities across 12 eastern states. The event featured inaugural and valedictory sessions with addresses by senior officials, and concluded with awards across thematic tracks. Prize winners included institutions from Guwahati for Agriculture Science and Basic Science, an institution from Kolkata for Engineering & Technology and for Health Sciences, a Kolkata institution for Interdisciplinary Research, and a Guwahati institution for Social Sciences, Humanities, Commerce, Business Management and Law.
