The supplier secured the largest allocation (500 MW) from a 1,580 MW tender, positioning the contract as revenue-supportive ahead of a planned demerger of its power assets. The conglomerate operates nearly 12 GW of thermal capacity overall, including about 5 GW of merchant power across several states.
