<h1>Second day of high-altitude snowfall with localized traces; rain, hail, thunderstorms and fog as western disturbance approaches</h1> Snowfall persisted for a second day in a high-altitude district of Himachal Pradesh, with traces reported in one locality, while the summer capital experienced rain and hail under heavy cloud cover. Light rains were recorded across several towns (highest 16 mm), and thunderstorms affected multiple districts; moderate fog was observed in another area. A new western disturbance is expected to affect the Western Himalaya from October 27. Minimum and maximum temperatures showed no significant change, with nocturnal lows near freezing at the coldest sites and daytime highs around 32.2°C at the warmest.
