        <h1>Paddy procurement registrations exceed 1.37 lakh; MSP set, Aadhaar payments, 48-hour settlement, 60 lakh tonne target.</h1> Paddy procurement uses an OTP-based single registration system via portal and mobile app, with direct electronic payments to Aadhaar-linked bank accounts mandated within 48 hours. The procurement programme has operationalised 3,790 of 4,000 planned centres, targets 60 lakh metric tonnes, permits paddy with up to 17% moisture, and fixes MSP at Rs 2,369 per quintal for common paddy and Rs 2,389 per quintal for Grade-A.
