<h1>Decomposed bodies of adult man and 16-year-old relative found in forest after reported disappearance and family tension</h1> Decomposed bodies of an adult male and a 16-year-old female relative were found in a forest near a village in Kanpur Rural district; one body was largely skeletal with apparent animal mauling, the other was badly decomposed in stagnant water with maggot infestation. An identity document recovered on-site suggests the male was a resident of a nearby village. Locals told police the pair had been missing since Sept. 25 and that a relationship between them had created family tension. Both bodies have been sent for post-mortem and further police investigation is underway.
