<h1>Government keeps small savings interest rates unchanged for Oct-Dec 2025; Sukanya 8.2%, PPF 7.1%, NSC 7.7%</h1> The government left interest rates on small savings schemes unchanged for the quarter beginning October 1, 2025, continuing a run of unchanged quarterly rates. Sukanya Samriddhi Scheme will earn 8.2%; three-year term deposits and Public Provident Fund will remain at 7.1%; post office savings deposits at 4.0%; Kisan Vikas Patra at 7.5% with a maturity of 115 months; National Savings Certificate at 7.7%; and the Monthly Income Scheme at 7.4%. The notification applies for October-December 2025 and maintains rates previously notified for the prior quarter.
