<h1>Memoranda of Understanding drive major food-processing investments, enabling multi-state projects and projected employment growth.</h1> Government entered into multiple Memoranda of Understanding with 26 domestic and global firms to secure large-scale investment commitments in the food processing sector, covering subsectors such as dairy, meat and poultry, packaged foods, beverages, spices, confectionery, edible oils, fruits and vegetables, and ready-to-eat products. The Ministry of Food Processing Industries, assisted by Invest India, will facilitate implementation across numerous states, with the MoUs outlining greenfield and brownfield projects, integrated manufacturing facilities, projected employment outcomes, and roles for follow-up and coordination.
