The first phase targets roughly 10,000 jobs (4,000 direct, 6,000 indirect) and may include a modern repair facility. The company will leverage an existing 310-meter dry dock to construct large vessels (Suezmax, container, Capesize) with up to six vessels annually, and proposes an 80-acre block fabrication facility at another yard involving ~Rs 3,700 crore and significant additional employment.
