<h1>Mass folk-performance campaign promotes cleanliness, waste segregation, composting and reduced single-use plastics across three zones</h1> A state urban sanitation agency organised 480 folk performances over 25 days across three administrative zones to promote cleanliness, household waste segregation and reduction of single-use plastics, using Bhavai, puppetry and street plays that drew about 150-250 attendees each and collectively reached lakhs. The campaign emphasized environmental and public-health impacts of everyday habits, encouraged cloth bags, home composting and community drives, implemented eco-friendly stage practices to avoid plastic waste, collected digital feedback via QR codes, and amplified outreach through social media influencers in support of a broader state sanitation initiative.
