<h1>Finance minister rebuts Rs 12,000 crore relief shortfall claims, lists Rs 1,582 crore SDRF receipts and Rs 649 crore spent</h1> The state finance minister rebutted opposition allegations over a purported Rs 12,000 crore disaster relief shortfall, stating the state received Rs 1,582 crore from the central government under the State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) from April 2022 to Sept 10, 2025 and detailing year-wise receipts and expenditures: Rs 208 crore (2022-23, Rs 61 crore spent), Rs 645 crore (2023-24, Rs 420 crore spent), Rs 488 crore (2024-25, Rs 27 crore spent) and Rs 241 crore (2025-26, Rs 140 crore spent). He said Rs 649 crore has been spent and remaining balances are reserved for ongoing relief, accused the opposition of spreading falsehoods, and criticized the central government for withholding other dues.
