State owned aluminium company funds three month residential skill training for 60 periphery youths to boost employability and livelihoods
A state-owned aluminium company signed an MoU with a regional skill development institute to provide three-month residential training to local youths from periphery villages around its mining and industrial complexes. Under the programme, 30 trainees from each of two designated periphery areas will receive training aligned with the National Skills Qualification Framework to enhance employability and generate sustainable livelihoods. The initiative, implemented through the company's charitable arm, is presented as a community-development measure focused on youth skilling, industry-ready competencies and livelihood generation in the company's operational regions.
