The minister highlighted that about 2.82 crore self-help group women have become 'Lakhpati Didis' and the goal is three crore women earning over Rs 1 lakh annually. Speaking at the Saras Aajeevika Mela, the minister linked patronage of Indian products to job creation and economic strengthening, stressed protection of national interest, and invited the public to visit the fair running through Sept. 22.
