Nationwide Climate Week India unites 27 grassroots groups for 55+ community events, murals, youth and indigenous-led programs
An impact storytelling studio is anchoring the first nationwide Climate Week India from 7-14 September, convening 27 grassroots organisations for more than 55 community-driven events across 22 cities to connect academics, policymakers, businesses, civil society, youth and indigenous communities. The programme centres local experiences and collaborations and includes a public-mural initiative aiming to depict resilience and adaptation, launching in five locations with a goal of one mural per district by 2030. Offerings range from climate carnivals and museum exhibits to comedy nights, tree walks and synchronized film screenings, emphasising accessibility and grassroots engagement.
