<h1>Corporate philanthropic foundation restores historic public garden, dedicates it to community and commits ongoing citywide green-space stewardship</h1> A corporate philanthropic foundation has completed restoration of a historic public garden in Ahmedabad and dedicated it to the public; the project was inaugurated by a federal minister in the presence of the state chief minister. The foundation will develop and manage the park under a citywide green-space initiative, committing ongoing maintenance of multiple parks and lakes totaling about 50 hectares and additional gardens under development. The restored 26,010 sq m site features accessibility ramps, pathways, play and fitness areas, amphitheatre, water bodies, and extensive native planting and tree conservation. The foundation is a not-for-profit entity funded by its founding family and affiliated companies.
