Total receipts were Rs 10.95 lakh crore, including Rs 6.61 lakh crore net tax revenue, and Rs 4.03 lakh crore non-tax receipts; Rs 4.28 lakh crore was devolved to states, about Rs 61,914 crore higher year-on-year. Centre's expenditure was Rs 15.63 lakh crore (Rs 12.17 lakh crore revenue, Rs 3.46 lakh crore capital); interest payments and major subsidies were significant. An economist attributed weaker monthly tax collections partly to filing deadline shifts and cautioned potential GST changes could affect revenue.
