<h1>Police use Section 68F(2) NDPS to freeze Rs 2.5 crore in assets from three drug smugglers</h1> Rajasthan Police invoked Section 68F(2) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act to freeze illegally acquired assets worth Rs 2.5 crore linked to three drug smugglers in Barmer district, the first use of that provision there. Seized assets include three residential buildings, two plots and four vehicles. Authorities also froze property valued at about Rs 60 lakh tied to one offender with multiple criminal cases, approximately Rs 90 lakh linked to another with several charges, and roughly Rs 1 crore belonging to a third habitual offender.
