Around 15 cases initially lodged at the central station were transferred, with roughly 50 complaints recorded there and additional complaints from rural stations; over 500 investors have approached police. The proprietors were previously arrested and later granted bail; they will be re-questioned after formal handover and initial procedures. Investigations will proceed under the EOW once re-registration and preliminary steps are completed.
