<h1>Renewable firm starts commercial production of 1.2 GW 620W DCR Topcon solar cell line, expands domestic manufacturing capacity</h1> A renewable energy company began commercial operations of a 1.2 GW solar cell production line built at an investment of Rs 642 crore to manufacture high-efficiency, large-format 620 W DCR Topcon modules using N Type G12R technology. The modules are positioned as more efficient than earlier Mono PERC technology and comply with India's Domestic Content Requirement, supporting domestic manufacturing initiatives. The BSE-listed firm currently reports 7.1 GW manufacturing capacity (2 GW solar cells, 5.1 GW modules) and intends to expand capacity by 12.4 GW to reach 8.4 GW in cells and 11.1 GW in modules.
