Mineral revenue rose by 34% to Rs 15,000 crore; estimated 2024-25 reserves include about 2,500 million tonnes of limestone and 93 million tonnes of iron ore. The Union Ministry of Mines approved NMET-funded exploration projects for limestone and bauxite and approved proposals for lithium, niobium, tantalum, titanium rare earths and iron ore. The state commits administrative and scientific support for detailed exploration, data sharing, and development to advance resource-based economic growth and self-reliance.
