<h1>International airport operator and industry body to host inaugural aviation summit August 23-24 to attract investment, boost MRO and drones</h1> Cochin International Airport Ltd, in partnership with an industry body, will host the inaugural Kerala Aviation Summit in Kochi on August 23-24, to be inaugurated by the state chief minister and presided over by the industries minister; senior airport executives and the city mayor will participate in opening and closing sessions. The summit aims to attract investment, foster innovation, and align with a draft state aviation policy to transform the state into a regional aviation and logistics hub, with discussions on drones, digital air travel, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and related emerging sectors.
