<h1>Over 6.2 crore ABHA IDs issued; 8.26% budget to health; home medicine delivery pilot, AI fraud checks, 1,699 hires</h1> The state reported issuance of over 6.2 crore Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) IDs, the second highest nationally, and reviewed health-sector budget implementation and reforms. Officials said 8.26% of the first state budget was allocated to health; a state health university will be upgraded into an institute on the lines of a premier national medical institute at an estimated cost of Rs 750 crore. The government directed a pilot for home delivery of free medicines to senior citizens, deployment of AI-based fraud detection for the government health scheme for employees and pensioners, and recruitment of 1,699 medical officers.
