The project includes construction of industrial sheds, power substations, underground electric lines, fire service stations, and 34 roads in locations including industrial areas in various districts. The state government allocated additional plots totaling 155 acres across two districts for new industrial development. The industrial development corporation recovered 28 acres from 24 inactive industrial units to accommodate new entrepreneurs. A new initiative focuses on promoting plywood manufacturing, with two units currently operational and seven more planned. The state aims to utilize rubber wood from 10,000 hectares of aging rubber plantations to establish Tripura as a leading plywood manufacturing state, leveraging its total rubber plantation area of 110,000 hectares.
