<h1>Gandhinagar institution partners with seven Northeast institutes for smart manufacturing, AI, robotics, and sustainability development</h1> A Gandhinagar-based educational institution has signed a memorandum of understanding with seven premier institutes from Northeast India to develop future-ready capabilities in smart manufacturing, robotics, mobility, artificial intelligence, digital technologies, space, and sustainability. The participating institutes include multiple National Institutes of Technology and one Indian Institute of Information Technology from the region. The collaboration supports national initiatives like Make in India, Digital India, and Skill India through joint research, curriculum development, advanced skilling, faculty development, startup incubation, and co-hosting events. Additional activities include joint degree programs, student immersion programs, technology commercialization, and policy white paper preparation. The partnership extends to social impact projects including adoption of Engineering Diploma Colleges and ITIs under a hub-and-spoke model. Students can apply for fellowships supporting one-year International Professional Master's Programs.
