The cooperative department established over 600 new cooperative societies by June 2025. The 2025-26 budget allocates Rs 25,000 crore for interest-free loans to an additional 35 lakh farmers. Additional initiatives include medium and long-term credit distribution, construction of 212 warehouses, dairy-focused loan schemes, and one-time interest relief for cooperative bank borrowers. The Chief Minister emphasized the government's 'Prosperity through Cooperation' vision to empower weaker sections through cooperative initiatives.
