During the Brazil visit, he attended the 17th BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro and held bilateral talks with the Brazilian President. Discussions focused on diversifying trade ties, expanding cooperation in clean energy, sustainable development, climate change mitigation, defense, security, agriculture, space, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, and Digital Public Infrastructure. India and Brazil signed agreements to strengthen cooperation in various sectors. The Prime Minister received Brazil's highest civilian honor, the Grand Collar of the National Order of the Southern Cross, for contributions to bilateral relations. At the BRICS summit, he emphasized collaborative efforts to secure supply chains for critical minerals and technology, preventing their misuse as weapons.
