<h1>Indian equity markets recover from early losses as US trade deal announcement awaited, foreign funds flow in</h1> Indian equity markets opened weak but recovered to trade marginally higher as investors awaited formal announcement of a trade deal with the US. The benchmark indices initially declined with the Sensex falling 121 points and Nifty dropping 37 points, but later recovered with positive momentum from Asian markets and foreign fund inflows. The US President indicated proximity to finalizing a trade deal with India while imposing tariffs on 14 other countries, excluding India from the tariff list. Foreign institutional investors purchased equities worth Rs 321 crore while domestic investors bought Rs 1,853 crore worth of stocks.
