<h1>Lt Governor announces Rs 60,000 crore investment proposals pending with Rs 25,000 crore projects under implementation</h1> The Lt Governor announced that investment proposals worth Rs 60,000 crore are pending in the Union Territory, with Rs 25,000 crore worth of projects currently being implemented. Projects valued at Rs 10,000 crore have been completed and begun production, while Rs 15,000 crore worth of projects will commence this year. Speaking at a Job Fair organized by a local university, the Lt Governor highlighted that 57 companies participated with 3,759 registered candidates. The administration has attracted industries since 2021, connecting job seekers with employers. Industries have received Rs 28,400 crore worth of incentives under the new industrial development scheme over two-and-a-half years. The new industrial policy prioritizes employment for local youth, with one company establishing offices in a village providing employment to approximately 375 youths.
