<h1>Land Pooling Policy Offers Landowners Flexible Urban Development Options with Plot Allocation and Development Incentives</h1> The Punjab Cabinet approved a Land Pooling Policy allowing landowners to voluntarily contribute land for urban development. Under the policy, landowners can provide land to the state government or builders, or develop the land independently. In the first phase, the policy will be implemented in 27 cities. Landowners contributing one acre will receive a 1,000 square yard residential plot and a 200 square yard commercial plot. Those contributing nine acres can get three acres for group housing development.
