<h1>Property Tax Amnesty Scheme SUNIYO Offers Full Waiver of Past Dues for Five Years with Principal Tax Payment</h1> Municipal Corporation of Delhi launched a property tax amnesty scheme called SUNIYO for the 2025-26 financial year. Taxpayers can pay current and five previous years' principal property tax, with all prior dues and associated penalties waived. The scheme applies to all property types under MCD jurisdiction. During the first General House meeting, the new Mayor also announced removal of garbage collection user charges and appointed a new Leader of the House.
