This allocation aims to provide affordable food to tourists, devotees, religious groups, NGOs, and officials involved in the event. The subsidy for this allocation amounts to 40.60 crore. The Kumbh Mela, a significant religious festival held in Allahabad every 12 years, is expected to draw approximately seven lakh participants, including international tourists.
