<h1>HPV vaccination rollout advances with capacity building and awareness campaigns to implement WHO single dose guidance for adolescents.</h1> The Union Health Ministry is planning a roll out of capacity building for frontline workers and IEC activities to implement HPV vaccination for adolescents, following NTAGI's recommendation to include the vaccine in the Universal Immunisation Programme. The implementation strategy will emphasise workforce training, sensitisation campaigns, coordinated vaccine supply of available quadrivalent and 9 valent products, and consideration of WHO's single dose recommendation to address India's high cervical cancer burden.
