Finance Bill, 2008 as passed by Lok Sabha dated 29-4-2008 was passed by Rajya Sabah on 30-4-2008. Honorable Members of Rajya Sabha passed the bill after discussion of around 4.30 hours.

Now, the bill will be sent to the President for Enactment. We hope that by the end of second week of this month, the bill would get enacted.
