The Agartala Civil Hospital, managed by the Agartala Municipal Corporation, will include a minor operation theater and help reduce patient load at GBP and IGM hospitals. The government plans to establish a night shelter with subsidized lodging and food for people accompanying patients from rural areas. The Rotary Club and Rogi Kalyan Samity have already implemented a Rs. 10 mid-day meal program for patient companions at GBP hospital.
