<h1>Day Care Cancer Centres rollout to expand district oncology access with prioritized sites and formal referral linkages.</h1> The government will establish Day Care Cancer Centres (DCCCs) in district hospitals based on a comprehensive gap analysis of cancer care infrastructure, personnel and equipment; districts with high cancer burden and limited access will be prioritised in consultation with state governments. The centres will have structured referral linkages with State Cancer Institutes and Tertiary Cancer Care Centers to provide follow up chemotherapy for patients referred from tertiary facilities, and treatments will be provided in public hospitals either free or at high subsidy.
