<h1>Antyodaya Gruha Jojana: New Housing Scheme for Vulnerable Groups, 60,000 Work Orders Issued, 5 Lakh Homes Planned</h1> Odisha's Chief Minister launched the Antyodaya Gruha Jojana (AGJ), a state housing scheme aimed at providing pucca houses to eligible households excluded from existing schemes, calamity victims, displaced families, and Forest Rights Act beneficiaries. The scheme prioritizes persons with disabilities, widows, and families affected by severe diseases or disasters. On the launch day, 60,000 work orders were issued statewide, including 10 distributed at the event. The government plans to build over 5 lakh houses in three years, with a budget of Rs 2,600 crore for the current year and Rs 7,550 crore over the next three years.
