of <h1>ESIC Expands Coverage in Uttar Pradesh: 15 New Districts Added, Benefiting Over 1 Crore People</h1> Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) has expanded its coverage in Uttar Pradesh by including 15 additional districts under the ESI Scheme. Now, 74 out of 75 districts in the state are covered, benefiting 30.08 lakh insured persons and 1.16 crore beneficiaries. The newly added districts are Ambedkar Nagar, Auraiya, Bahraich, Gonda, Hamirpur, Jalaun, Kannauj, Maharajganj, Mahoba, Pilibhit, Siddharthnagar, Shamli, Pratapgarh, Kasganj, and Shravasti, adding 53,987 new insured persons. The government aims to extend social security to all eligible workers, with ongoing efforts to cover remaining districts. Nationwide, 689 districts are covered, with 89 still non-notified.
