The government has initiated a campaign for free health screenings at Ayushman Arogya Mandir for individuals over 30, focusing on hypertension, diabetes, and cancer. Since its inception, 35 crore people have been screened, revealing significant cases of hypertension, diabetes, and cancer. The country currently operates several cancer care centers, with plans to establish additional cancer day care centers nationwide. Additionally, Rs 3,635 crore has been allocated to support tuberculosis patients through direct benefit transfers.
