The project, developed on a build, operate, and transfer (BOT) basis, aims to improve logistics efficiency and connectivity between JNPA Port and Navi Mumbai International Airport. The highway will alleviate congestion in urban areas and enhance freight movement by linking key highways and incorporating tunnels through the Sahayadri region. This infrastructure development is part of the PM Gatishakti National Master Plan to boost regional growth and prosperity.
