The project, costing Rs 10,601.4 crore, will involve setting up a new Ammonia-Urea Complex with an annual capacity of 12.7 lakh tonnes at Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Ltd in Namrup. The joint venture will have a debt-equity ratio of 70:30, with various stakeholders including the Assam government, BVFCL, Hindustan Urvarak & Rasayan Limited, National Fertilizers Ltd, and Oil India Limited. The project is expected to be completed in 48 months, boosting local employment and energy efficiency.
